The Japan Osaka World Expo will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The China Pavilion participated in by China State Construction Wuzhou (CSCWZ) will open on schedule when the expo begins. Inspired by "Chinese Calligraphy Scrolls," the architectural shape of the China Pavilion uses five fonts—seal script, clerical script, running script, and regular script—to engrave 119 famous Chinese poetry masterpieces, instantly conveying a strong Chinese identity and rich cultural atmosphere. CSCWZ is responsible for the entire construction process of steel structure materials, including production, pre-assembly, and transportation.
Located in the central area of the Osaka Expo Park, the China Pavilion covers an area of approximately 3,500 square meters. It is a complex steel structure building with a main structure supported by large-diameter circular tube columns and a multi-faceted, curved surface design. The total steel consumption is about 1,116 tons, using steel sections complying with Japanese standards. To ensure the project met design requirements and timely delivery, Shanghai Huilian Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. collaborated with CSCWZ to repeatedly research material design and procurement plans. The company communicated with steel mills in Taiwan and Japan for ordering, ultimately ensuring the smooth progress of the project. All steel structure products met Japanese construction market standards and received unanimous praise from domestic and international parties.
