Thanks to globalization, China has caught the express train of rapid economic development in the past 20 years. But globalization has reached a "crossroads" so far. In recent years, whether from the development index of international trade or the index of cross-border investment, globalization has been regressing, and anti-globalization voices have emerged in various countries. In fact, this kind of "anti-globalization" concern began to appear as early as after the financial crisis in 2008, but it was basically on the edge at that time. The raging of the epidemic around the world has objectively brought "anti-globalization" into a new stage of "general recognition".
Although globalization is still the general trend, China, as the current hub of the global manufacturing industry, cannot be immune to such a trend of thought. Especially when China, the global factory, cannot maintain high-speed output as in the past, its important position in the global supply chain immediately stands out in the world, and at the same time makes European and American countries strongly feel the fragility of the global industrial chain. Faced with this substantial impact, the conservative trend of economic nationalism has almost become the instinctive reaction of Western economies. The call for ensuring the "security of the industrial chain" with a strong nationalist and protectionist color continues to sound in Western European and American countries, and the walls of "city-state protection" are quietly rising.
At the end of March this year, Shanghai encountered a large-scale COVID-19 epidemic and entered a state of lockdown. Under such extreme conditions, Morimatsu devoted the entire company's strength to complete the production of China's largest modular vaccine factory exported to Africa. On May 8, the world's largest multi-purpose heavy lift ship "Pilecki" set off on its maiden voyage carrying the Morocco modular vaccine factory project built by Morimatsu Farmado. This project fills the gap in local vaccine production in Africa and realizes the aseptic filling of more than 20 vaccines and other products including the new crown vaccine. In the future, it will be able to meet more than 70% of the demand in Morocco and more than 60% of the demand on the African continent. It has made solid contributions to the global fight against the new crown epidemic, the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the guarantee of the stability and smooth operation of the international supply chain.

It is reported that Morimatsu International Holdings Co., Ltd. (stock code: 2155.HK) is an internationally leading provider of high-end pressure equipment and integrated engineering solutions. It has been deeply involved in the industry for more than 30 years and has long been committed to providing core equipment and integrated solutions and value-added services for biopharmaceuticals, power battery raw materials, oil and gas chemical industry, electronic chemistry and other fields, especially in modular complete sets of equipment.
In fact, generally speaking, the delivery of large-scale equipment has a long construction cycle. Even for sticky customers with long-term strategic cooperation, procurement may be pulsed, and delivery generally takes 9 to 12 months. However, Morimatsu once again created a "miracle" in the construction of the Morocco vaccine plant, which took only 6 months. Being able to win such a hard project is a reflection of the company's strength, and it is even more amazing that it can continue to create "miracles" in extreme environments.
We are fortunate to be involved in the materials and production of this project, and to explore foreign markets with Morimatsu.
