Recently, the Saudi Red Sea Project, the world's largest off-grid energy storage project undertaken by China Power Construction Group Shandong Electric Power Construction No. 3 Engineering Company (referred to as Shandong Electric Power Construction No. 3 Company), achieved another milestone, with 5 million safe working hours without accidents.

On May 15, the project department held a "5 million safe working hours" celebration event, and ACWA POWER Chairman Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Abunayyan, Shandong Electric Power Construction No. 3 Company Deputy General Manager Chen Yunpeng and others attended the event.

The Saudi Red Sea Utilities Infrastructure Project is a key project of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" planning. It is the world's largest off-grid energy storage project and the first large-scale commercial utility project integrating multiple energy sources. It is also the first large-scale infrastructure complex project undertaken by a Chinese company in Saudi Arabia. The project focuses on clean energy and environmental protection, and is committed to green and pollution-free energy supply, including photovoltaics, energy storage, power grid, seawater desalination, water supply network, wastewater treatment, wastewater network, solid waste treatment, communications, district cooling and many other modules.
